"The origin of Ancient Weapons theory"I want to start off with Enel and his backstory. Remember how Enel went to the Moon and we saw that there is life outside of the One Piece world. There is a marine robot and it’s behavior resembled that of a marine.
There were also space pirates. Later in that side story, the professor died after he got a heart attack when he saw that the Moon exploded. And that means that the Moon is important which will later be explained in more detail.
Also, we see that Enel found a carving of ancient history, and maybe it was a Poneglyph. The three people we can see on the carving are the three Ancient Weapons – Pluton, Uranus and Poseidon. They are the gods of the One Piece world. The person with the fish-hat is Poseidon and he is building a mini robot. That is a little symbolism for Poseidon building the Noah. The person next to him is Pluton. He is also building the mini robot and that is a symbolism for building a warship. Back in the Alabasta arc, we find out that Pluton is a giant warship capable of mass destruction and we know from the Water 7 and Enies Lobby arcs that Franky destroyed the blueprints. The third person from the carving carrying the stick is Uranus, and the thing on top of the stick kind of looks like a Devil Fruit.
Uranus is said to be god of the sky and he is able to control the sky and the weather. So, in One Piece, there is only one character who is able to do that – Monkey D. Dragon. I think that Dragon is in fact the Ancient Weapon Uranus. Also, if we look closely, there is also a compass on the carving, which I will talk about later.
The title of the cover says they flew to the Blue Sea and Clover said 800 or 900 years ago there was human civilization, there was land, there was the Red Line and the Grand Line… So, there wasn’t a Blue Sea like All Blue, but, in fact, it was what the gods have imagined, what they wanted. If you look closely on the second carving, you can notice an eye and three legs. Those three legs are the Ancient Weapons. They all had the same vision. They all have the same eye. They share the same dream. This ties to the Void Century.
The 20 Kingdoms fought with the Ancient Kingdom. I assume that it’s called “Ancient” because the three gods – the Ancient Weapons, ruled there. And the Ancient Kingdom came up with a project called “One Piece” to get rid of the Red Line. What is the One Piece? I think it’s a replica for the Space Sea. Now I’m going to return to the compass. So, there was a compass in space and on the bottom was a sea – the sea in the One Piece world. So, my point is that there is, in fact, a sea in space. That is the reason why we also encountered space pirates on the Moon. So the three gods wanted to create the One Piece planet for a replica of what the universe is – One Piece. All Blue, the whole ocean, is actually the space and the islands are the planets.
When Clover was talking about the Void Century, he was looking at the Sun. The 20 Kingdoms, on that day, formed and became the World Government. If you look at their flag, you will see four circles and one circle in the middle.
I assume they came from different planets surrounding one planet – the One Piece world. And the World Nobles we see today are the very first people to step on the Blue Planet (the One Piece world). That is the reason why they wear space suits.
Moments before the gods fell, before the Ancient Kingdom collapsed, they had a plan to destroy the Moon. After that, the World Government stole all of their ideas, a supreme sense of justice and a marine robot – Kumas (similar to the mini robots on the Moon).
But, the three gods did not envision this and by this I mean what is currently happening in the One Piece world – dehumanization, slavery, war.
Now, I will return to the professor that got a heart attack. What if he knew about what the gods have envisioned, but since he lived up there, he didn’t know about the filthy things going on in the One Piece world? And that’s why he got a heart attack. It’s because he thought that the world was as the gods had envisioned it, but it all went wrong.
Now, there are two Wills of D: the Will of the Devil and the Will of the Descendant. Why am I mentioning this? Pluton is the Roman name for the Greek god of the underworld Hades, known as Dis Pater in Rome. The name derives from ploutos which means “wealth”, as was often conflated with the god of wealth. What if Pluton or, should I better say, Hades had the same vision like the other two – Poseidon and Uranus, but got caught up in his personal selfish reasons? Like Rayleigh said, the Will of D is to hear the voice of all things.
Luffy can hear the Sea Kings, he can hear animals, he is, in fact, the Will of the Descendant.
Blackbeard is the Will of the Devil. He betrayed his family aka the Whitebeard pirates for his own selfish reasons.
What I’m trying to point out is that there is no way the three so powerful Ancient Weapons could lose to the 20 Kingdoms and that the Ancient Kingdom could fall like that. But, if someone happens to betray them, in this case Pluton / Hades, then the chance of them being defeated goes up. This explains why all of the D’s have different characteristics, but the same goal.
Now to return to the previous matter. Why would the gods want to destroy the Moon if they only wanted to create a replica of the sea? But it’s much more than that. The gods knew they were wrong about making a replica of the space sea in the Blue Planet. What I’m saying is not that the Blue Planet is the One Piece, but it’s, together with all the other planets, an island in the space sea and when it goes inside the universe, it becomes the One Piece (One Piece is all of the planets together in the universe).
Sanji specifically said that the All Blue exists. In One Piece episode 319, there was an old man who made really delicious sea food. Sanji was wondering how he was able to make it and the man said that all the waves come together and then hit Water 7. Then, at the same time, both of them said that there is only one sea that can do that – All Blue.
If you look at the Blue Planet from a global scale, from the Moon, you would be looking at All Blue. Gol D. Roger said to Rayleigh: “Wanna come with me and turn the world upside down?”. I think Roger took that out of the context. Someone told him: “Find the One Piece and you’ll turn the world upside down”. And he thought the pirates would overrun the world and control everything.
At the end of his journey, at his execution, he said his wealth and treasure were out there somewhere and to go look for it. In this case, his wealth and treasure is his experience and journey. In Roger’s conversation with Whitebeard, he told him about the Will of D and about One Piece. Also, the conversation indicates that the way to Raftel is not as simple as we think. After Whitebeard’s flashback, he said to the World Government that: “someone will come who will turn the world upside down”. And he says this after Roger said to him what the One Piece is about.
What would happen if the world would actually turn upside down and the Moon was destroyed? The One Piece world would be on the top and every other planet on the bottom. That is why there are three Ancient Weapons, so they can maintain this to go down. And that is One Piece – to have the Blue Planet to come into the universe like all the other planets.
One Piece = One Universe
There are three ways to get to the Moon:
1. The New World
There is a planet hanging down in the New World.
2. The Knock Up Stream
That is how the Strawhats went to Skypiea. I assume they could also go to the Moon with it.
3. Something yet to be introduced
It could be at the end of the Grand Line.
Skypiea has an exit and if there is an exit, than there’s got to be an entrance. If you remember, Skypiea is really vast, it’s huge. So maybe the same could be applied to the Moon. So, Roger engraved his name on the Poneglyph, because that was the end of his journey. Skypiea was basically the last destination of the Roger pirates.
